This Mural was painted for Phoebe. A little girl who loves Cinderella!

There are 3 walls painted, one with Cinderella and Prince Charming, one of the Castle and the Horses and Carriage and one with some text and Phoebe’s name detailed.

This wall mural was for a 7 yr old boy who adores Spongebob….it was painted onto the largest wall in his bedroom and looked very cool with his bunkbeds and Lego Models displayed around it. He was delighted and I am sure sleeps all night every night now…..dreaming of giant pink jellyfish…..!!

I was asked to paint twin girls a canvas each for their first birthday that could hang in their bedroom as children but that they could have as adults too. Their names are subtly included and woven into the design. The canvas size is A2.

Leswalt Primary had 2 areas needing brightening up, one at the Main Entrance and one at the rear in the school gardens.

The school is a lovely small country Primary so I could easily include all of the pupils with the painting. The children were very involved with ideas and subject matter for the mural so I really just coordinated them all and tidied around the edges here and there!! We had Fishing, Farming, flowers, butterflies, school logo, rainbow, spiders and  juicy fat bumble bees included in the design!

We painted over 3 days and included about 45 kids if my memory serves me correctly! It was SO sunny I had to let the kids take turns with my sun glasses as the wall was so bright in the sunshine!!

(If you are ever in Leswalt check out the excellent village shop….its ace!)

Farm Canvas

The first Farm canvas is about A2 size and was for Gavin…a real farmers boy!!

The second farm canvas is a large 2 metre by 1 metre on 2 canvasses to be hung together. This is a great alternative to having a mural painted directly onto your wall but still gives a large impact in a kids room.

This Mural was for Sophie. Sophie kept having nightmares and so had her Princesses painted to help her sleep all night…after all she did have twin baby sisters….!!!

The wall above her bed has a castle with Aurora, Cinderella and Snow White and Sophie’s name. The wall to the right has a large Belle within a heart and then smaller paintings of Beast, Cogsworth,  Lumiere, Chip and Mrs Potts. We added a bit of sparkle and some pearlised paint too.

The overall effect went down very well and Sophie, I believe, sleeps very well!

This mural was painted to celebrate the Centenery Year of Giffnock Primary School. Each section represents something significant from each decade that has passed and  a section of Fireworks which were painted by some of the pupils. Can you name all the decades from the pictures?!

This was great fun to paint (a few years ago now!) as the hall is used as both a gym hall and a lunch hall so I did have spells painting where I had an area round me coned off and Basketball games were going on around me!

This attic bedroom mural was for painted for Mia.  The Little Mermaid themed mural  is painted over several coombed ceilings (quite awkward to paint and photograph!!) A large feature wall of Ariel on the rocks with the waves behind her, then Prince Eric and some of the other characters on the wall next to that. We then painted Neptune and some sparkly gold paint with stars and Mia’s name detailed under ‘when you wish upon a star your dreams come true’.

This mural was planned out quite carefully by Mia’s Mum who knew exactly what she wanted and was delighted with the finished room!

I have just started producing handpainted name plaques to order at Gifted. Hopefully I will be able to sell them online too in the future.

At the moment I can do Arial font individual letters spelling any name up to 9 letters long on a larger plaque for £20 (see photo below on left) and script font on a smaller plaque at £15 (see photo below on right)

I can do any colour scheme and have been doing stripes, spots and flowers on the letters…check out the photos for an idea of what they are like!!
